TRAVEL AND TOURISM

OUR CURRICULUM

CURRICULUM VISION

Travel and tourism is taught within our Geography faculty.

Students will develop a broad knowledge of the travel and tourism industry; including, travel and tourism organisations, destinations, what influences this global industry, and the needs of customers.

They will develop skills that can be used in industry, such as report writing and researching, whilst developing attitudes that are considered to be very important in the travel and tourism sector, including how to develop tourism while respecting the environment and local communities.

This course uses teacher-led sessions and scenario-based research projects that allow students to work independently and with teacher support.
