We want all students at Walker Riverside Academy to feel like Scientists.

We want pupils to realise that Science is an amazing and interconnected subject.

Through our curriculum we aim to spark curiosity and equip students with the scientific skills, knowledge and capital to enable them to:

• achieve the best Science qualifications possible, no matter their background or starting points;

• make informed choices in areas of Science affecting their lives;

• possess the scientific terminology to be able to participate in scientific discussions;

• feel confident and prepared for potential future study and employment in scientific fields; and

• revel in the awe of science beyond the national curriculum.
