SAFEGUARDING

At Walker Riverside Academy we continually strive to safeguard our students from being drawn into terrorism or any type of exploitation, being subjected to any type of exploitation or bullying. We, therefore, work closely with our local police and safeguarding organisations.

We are also increasingly aware of the mental health challenges faced by some of our students, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Please see below for useful information about our approach to safeguarding our students, useful links and reporting forms for our community to complete if they have any concerns.

If you would like to raise a concern about the safety and/or wellbeing of a student please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr Peter Robson on 0191 295 8660.
