TEACHER ASSESSED GRADES
The government said that exams and assessments could not be held fairly this year as a result of the disruption students have faced due to the pandemic. Teachers instead submitted grades to the exam boards. Students were only assessed on what they had been taught. The grade was based on their assessment of what they had shown students know and can do; enabling students to progress to the next stage of their education, training, or employment.
